Tulsa-grown Acoustic Rock group Skytown has been creating consistently top-ranked music for their wild, growing fan base since 2012.
What started off as playing local gigs with original members Dale Crain (Vocals/Lead Guitar), Tim Burress (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar), and Eliot Cooper (Drums), soon gained momentum, perking the ears of crowds and venue owners in Tulsa. The trio grew, incorporating members Jason Ford (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar), John Edens (Electric Guitar), and David Williams (Bass), to create what Skytown is today—a hard-hitting, guitar-driven rock group.
The hit song, “Prizefighter,” a track off Skytown’s debut album, Outshine the Sun (2015), was selected out of nearly 19,000 submissions as a semi-finalist in the 2015 International Songwriting Competition. In July 2015, the group released their first-ever music video for the nightmarishly catchy song “Through Circles.” Within hours, the video hit over 5,000 views on YouTube, making its way into multiple press outlets.
